This is a good trip for those interested in renting a car and then doing your own routes catching some of the most importansites in Southern Germany, Austria, and Italy in about 10 days and 3000 km.

Living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico gives me the desire to travel to a large city several times per year. Why? I think it has to do with the arts, specialized shopping, and just a different big city scene. Now with the completed highway it is only about 2.5 hours.

Spending a 3 days before and 1 day after our first NCL cruise in Barcelona, left me wanting more. Definitely going to make another Barcelona only trip in the future.

This cruise was booked shortly after the last one as I wanted to go to Iceland and from Southampton, England we cruised to Cork, Ireland; Liverpool, England; Belfast, Ireland; then to the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik as well as the northern port of Akureyi, Iceland; Norwegian Fjords of Geiranger and Flam; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Zeebrugge, Belgium all in 15 days.
2019 Transatlantic Cruise from Southampton, England to New York City, NY.
Aboard the brand new NCL Encore, this was a special inaugural cruise with no ports, just 8 days at sea across the North Atlantic, with a total of 10 days of cruising.
2019 NCL Re-positioning Cruise from Miami, Florida to Santiago, Chile.
A great 15-day cruise going one way from Miami to Santiago with stops along the way in Grand Cayman, Costa Rica, Panama Canal, Peru, and Santiago. A special feature was a shore excursion to Machu Picchu for 4 days and 3 nights.
2022 NCL Cruise from Athens, Greece to Israel and Back.
Finally, after 870 days of no cruising for me, I am back on it with a special 2-day, 1 night off ship tour into Israel to see all the Holy Sites.

A short 5-day cruise that takes us to new places in Croatia and Montenegro.
2022 NCL Prima Inaugural from Amsterdam to Copenhagen.
This 10-day cruise takes me back to the Baltic although on a slightly different route because there is no St. Petersburg included anymore! But a stop in the port of Warnemunde allows for a day trip to Berlin, Germany
2022 Transatlantic Cruise from Miami, Florida to Lisbon, Portugal.
A longer 21-day cruise takes be across the Atlantic this time from West to East with stops in the Azores, Canary Islands, Spain, and ending in Lisbon, Portugal for 6 days.
2022 Transatlantic Cruise from Lisbon, Portugal to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Another 14-day cruise to get me back to the Western Hemisphere with stops in Cape Verde, Canary Islands, and Brazil.
2023 New Zealand and Australia.
Time to go down under and tackle the Southern Hemisphere on the NCL Spirit for 12 days starting in Auckland, New Zealand, and ending up in Sydney, Australia.
2023 Southern Caribbean Cruise
Barely back from the Southern Hemisphere, I head to the Southern Caribbean from Panama City and my 4th Panama Canal Crossing. Stops in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacoa are the main sites on this cruise!
2023 NYC to Bermuda.
A short 7 days cruise from NYC to Bermuda with 2 days at sea coming and going provided us 3 days to explore the island. This was also on the new NCL Prima, so always a fun time!
2023 Tromso, Norway to Reykjavik, Iceland.
A last minute booking on a unique journey took me from Tromso, about 150 miles north of the Arctic Circle to various unique islands like the Shetlands, the Orkneys, and the Farros before finishing in Iceland.
2023 Vancouver, Canada to Seward, Alaska.
A one way trip to the usual Alaskan ports of call like Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka with 2 Bays with glaciers; Hubbard and Glacier. Always a fascinating part of the world!
2023 Seattle, Washington to Orlando Florida.
Yes, another trip through the Panama Canal was a part of this cruise which was 20 days long with stops in California, Oregon, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia. Missed 2 ports of call in Nicaragua and NCL private island in the Bahamas.
2023 Tropical Cruise from Hawaii to Taihiti.
Left from Honolulu, Hawaii after a few nights stay and then visited the islands of Kauai, Maui, and Hilo and then in French Polynesia we were able to see Moorea and Taihiti. Due to inclement weather, we missed the island of Raiatea.
2023-24 South America and Antarctica.
Visiting my 7th continent, I cruise from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Montevideo, Uruguay; Puerta Madryn, Argentina; Puerta Arenas, Chile; Ushuaia, Argentina; Elephant Bay, Antarctica; Paradise Island, Antarctica; Puerto del Este, Uruguay. Being the first cruise of the year with NCL, we were lucky with beautiful weather and calm waters.
2024 Transatlantic from London to Miami.
Another last minute chance to take a ship, the NCL Joy, out of dry dock and head back to the USA without any ports of call. I spend 10 days at sea with a friend on this cruise on my 5th Transatlantic cruise. Lots of new upgrades and it was an enjoyable relaxing cruise.
2024 Tokyo, Japan to Seward, Alaska.
A different kind of cruise and my first time to Asia, we take the long way around by flying from Mexico to Istanbul, Turkey to Tokyo, Japan. Cruise across the Pacific and the International Date Line puts us in Seward, Alaska again. Then flying home to Mexico makes the Round the World trip complete!

2024 Northeastern USA and Canada Cruise
Starting and ending in Boston, MA we go up to the northeast to Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland
Starting at the end of 2024 in Hong Kong, I cruised the first part to Taiwan with stops in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. Part 2 starts in Taiwan and finishes in Signapore. There are repeated ports in the Philippines but adds some new ones.
I cruised my longest journey yet with 3 back-to-back cruises, a total of 45 days. Starting in the Middle East, in Doha, the first part goes to Mauritius. The 2nd part is to Cape Town, South Africa, and the final part is the ending in Lisbon, Portugal.
A shorter 9-day cruise took me from Tokyo to Seoul, South Korea. Now I have completed Northern and Southern Japan.
